Tonight I pushed myself a little more and got the flash gun out. I even put it on a stand with an umbrella for the first time. A little playing around with locations for the stand was required and the kids were not massively in the mood for photos, but at least I got a few half decent ones for our efforts.
Technically this photo is pretty dreadful, but the fact that all three kids are in it makes it like gold dust.
